(24 December 2022) I, and surely many others, am in the awkward spot where I do not know what skills to improve on to eventually make a career out of them, as I have no idea what jobs will survive AI.
I am frightened of it and believe it could either be our ruin or to the 21st century what electricity was to the 19th. Our grandchildren could either (not exist or) want to strangle those today who are laughing at artists (these people, usually right-wingers, are laughing, it seems, out of spite because most artists are liberals. It seems antithetical to the right to strongly support AI.) or laugh at us like we would laugh at this old image that depicts electricity, one of our greatest inventions, as the ruin of man.
