(11 January 2023) It would be a truly masterful move from the West if it permitted climate change in Siberia, making the land arable, thusly attracting lustful eyes from the CCP and allowing the dragon to pulverise the bear; slaying both beasts through an inevitable nuclear exchange.
It is psychopathic but possible, with the only short-term worry being spillover. As for the long term: we know both of those tough and populous peoples, should they uncover the plot, would make it their civilisational goal to get revenge by all means possible.

Note: this is probably a dumb idea but it is still very intriguing. Russia, it seems, is becoming a vassal of China. The West should play them against each other; prevent China from gaining that power and weaken and isolate them both in the process.
